The 10th edition of Asparagus in the Fields will take place from May 27 to June 10, 2026. A unique event where taste, atmosphere, quality, and experience come together. After four editions in Nuenen and four in Veldhoven, we moved to the fantastic location in Leende in 2025. Our stylish pop-up restaurant will once again be located here for over two weeks in the middle of the fields of Asparagus Nursery Vermeer. Every day, our chefs will prepare culinary delights using freshly harvested asparagus combined with various regional Brabant products. As in previous years, renowned (Michelin-starred) chefs from the region will once again be cooking in our restaurant.

Just like last year, our stylish pop-up restaurant will once again be located in the fields of the Vermeer Asparagus Nursery in Leende. A true family business: pure, honest, and artisanal. Harvesting takes place daily during the season, so our restaurant uses only the freshest produce, the most flavorful asparagus grown in the open ground. The nursery and its accompanying shop are located at Langstraat 1A in Leende, and our restaurant will be built in the adjacent meadow, bordering the 200-meter-long asparagus beds. A beautiful location with panoramic views. Besides the stunning view, this location also offers all the necessary amenities for our guests, including ample free parking across the road.

Asparagus in the Fields is a concept and production by Bertie Klaassen of BERT! Events. The first edition of Asparagus in the Fields took place in 2015 at the Raaijmakers Hoeve location in Nuenen. After four years, the event moved to the Kelders Asparagus Nursery in Veldhoven in 2019. In 2025, we moved to the Vermeer Asparagus Nursery in Leende, where the 10th edition will also take place from May 27 to June 10, 2026.

Arjen will be co-organizing the event starting in 2026. In previous years, Arjen was already involved with Asperges op de Velden as a supplier through his rental company, Arjen Verhuurt. His passion for hospitality and event planning merges into his event management agency, WeCreate | Hospitality & Events. He and his team will be ready to assist you during the 10th edition!
